How to enjoy Las Vegas without losing all of your money

We all want to go to Vegas at some point in our lives. It’s the ultimate place of escape, where everyone can forget their worries for a few days and generally have an incredibly irresponsible time. But of course the financially prudent among us may want to consider whether or not rushing off to Vegas and spending obscene amounts of money is such a good idea. As it happens, there are ways in which you can enjoy a Vegas trip (and gamble) without spending the inheritance (there are also ways to gamble without going to Vegas, click here to visit the netbet casino site for example). In this post we will look at some ways to get more out of Vegas without breaking the bank.

One of the best things to do without worrying too much about blowing huge amounts on gambling is to take in a show. There are so many amazing shows that take place on a daily basis in Vegas, from major cabaret acts to international superstars (everyone plays Vegas eventually) that you are essentially spoilt for choice. You can end up spending hundreds on tickets if you are not careful, but, just like in London, there are plenty of last minute ticket sellers that should be able to help you out. Some of the biggest names play here, including leading lights in music such as Barbra Streisand.

Some cheating involved

But we have a little cheat for you too. If anyone has been to Barcelona, they will know there is always a lovely fountain show near Montjuic every night. The same happens in Vegas. The Bellagio Fountains bring you amazing fountain light shows all night, every night. Timed to wonderful music, it really is a sight to behold, and it is completely free. If you’re in need of some entertainment and you can’t really spare the cash for the casinos or a big show, this is one of the best options. On a summer’s night, it is also an excellent place to enjoy yourself, with everything lit up and an amazing, infectious atmosphere.

The Stratosphere Tower is the city’s highest point. You can get up here for $20 and gain amazing views of the Strip and everywhere else around it. It truly is an inspirational place to be and we recommend it as a place to visit on a budget. There are plenty of rides up here too, but we tend to agree with the majority of visitors, who just don’t fancy the idea of fairground rides at that altitude. That said, as a low cost place to visit in Vegas, it is hard to beat.

To eat for cheaper than what you might expect in Vegas, we can only suggest one thing, and that’s to eat anywhere off the famous Strip. This will ensure that you have a much more cost effective meal, with food off the Strip being essentially half the cost. Obviously, you can dine in the best place around, like The Wicked Spoon, for example, but if you want to eat well and for less, leave the Strip behind.

So there are some ways to enjoy Vegas without taking out a second mortgage. Remember, you don’t have to gamble there (although that is fun in itself) and there are plenty of places to enjoy yourself for less.
