Facebook App Now Allows You to Take 360-degree Pictures and Set as Covers

Facebook is giving users something to smile about this August after rolling out its updated app. You can now enjoy capabilities of your 360-degree camera device thanks to the new Facebook app. The social media giant unveiled its app that allows you to show all your surroundings in one picture starting on 23 August.  Timeline friends can now see what you’re currently looking at even if you just visited casino online on their Facebook. It can be done without requiring a third party camera. New Facebook app now supports you to take 360-degree pictures and set them as a cover photo on your page.

Both Android and iOS phones support the latest Facebook app version. To take 360-degree pictures using Facebook app, scroll to the top of the News Feed and tap the 360-degree button.  Then focus your camera on the surroundings, moving your device slowly till you take the full panorama. Once it finishes then select your preferred starting view within the photo and share with your friends.   The Facebook app is designed to be easy to use when capturing. When you finish capturing you can edit the photo and put a caption, zoom and also tag your friends in them. A 360-degree photo album is automatically created on your timeline. 360-degree photos cannot be set as profile pictures at the moment just like at your favourite aus online pokies. Capturing a 360-degree video requires a 360-degree camera device.

Facebook 360-degree is just an addition to Facebook tools, users can still perform the other old functions. This is the first time Facebook has updated the cover photo feature since launching it in 2011. Last month Facebook announced a number of updates to increase the quality of viewing and creating Live 360 videos. To enjoy this new feature you need to update to the newest version of the Facebook app by visiting Google Play or App Store.
